Tipperary is included in a government funding announcement for Greenway projects across the country.
The Department of Transport has confirmed a national allocation of €74.5 million.
It will be spent on Greenways and National Roads Active Travel infrastructure through Transport Infrastructure Ireland
The Premier County is to receive €625,000 under Transport Infrastructure Ireland Greenway Investment Grants.
Plans for the Marlfield Village to the Swiss Cottage route is getting €150,000 as is the Cashel to Cahir Greenway.
An allocation of €100,000 has been approved for the Lough Derg Greenway from Ballina to Dromineer.
A similar amount will be spent on progressing plans to link the Suir Blueway with the Waterford Greenway between Carrick on Suir and Kilmeaden.
€25,000 is earmarked for the Suir Blueway from the Gashouse Bridge to Suir Island in Clonmel.
Tipperary County Council is also getting a Local Authority Greenways Support allocation of €100,000.
