Funding approved for flood mitigation in Marlfield

Extra funding has been approved for Minor Flood Mitigation Works for a village in south Tipperary.

The Office of Public Works has confirmed a new allocation of €27,000 for Marlfield Village.

It means Tipperary County Council has a total of €72,000 for the project which includes the removal of the top section of the collapsing wall, associated works and disposal of removed items.
