Former South Tipp Councillor and GAA stalwart Joe Brennan has passed away

Former Tipperary County Councillor Joe Brennan has passed away.

He was elected in 2009 in the Fethard Electoral Area of South Tipperary County Council and served one term on the local authority.

The Grangemockler man was also a stalwart of the GAA and was appointed chair of the South Tipp board in 2011.

Joe will lie in repose at Brett’s Funeral Home in Mullinahone tomorrow evening from 4 to 8 o’clock.

He will be laid to rest on Wednesday following 12 noon Mass in St Mary’s Church, Grangemockler.
