The Tipperary County Board has come in for criticism for allowing club games to go ahead last Sunday on the day the county’s ladies football team were in an All Ireland final.
The County Senior Hurling semi-finals were both held on Sunday along with a number of other club games.
A vote of congratulations for the Tipp Ladies team was passed at this months meeting of the Thurles – Templemore Municipal District.
However Councillor John Hogan had some harsh words for the County Board.
