Sinn Fein figures on empty local authority homes that showed Tipperary in a bad light have been taken out of context.
That’s according to Tipp County Council’s Director of Services for Housing.

The Freedom of Information numbers highlighted by the opposition party last week put the Premier County among the four worst in the country.
They claimed that two houses had been boarded up for more than two years.
But Jonathan Cooney says both those houses had been marked for demolition and were never intended to be brought back into use for tenants looking for somewhere to live.
