Tipperary County Council has been criticised for not engaging with residents before starting road repairs.
Long awaited works on the Slievenamon Road in Thurles are causing inconvenience for residents in the area.
The works are being carried out by Transport Infrastructure Ireland, however Councillor David Doran says the local authority have a responsibility to inform locals of the plans.
He says more should have been done prior to the commencement of works:
