Speed surveys are to be carried out in Rosegreen to tackle the dangers posed to pedestrians in the village.
There are traffic calming measures already in place but they have not succeeded in resolving the problem.
Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District Louise McLoughlin raised the issue at this month’s gathering of the local authority.
She feels action has to be taken to prevent an accident.
