Independent Clr Joe Hannigan has secured the top job at Nenagh Municipal District.
The Kilbarron native was elected unopposed as Cathaoirleach of the North Tipp Council at their first meeting since the local elections.
He’s pledged to make the economy and tourism top of his agenda.
