There are calls for a proper assessment of the smart lighting system in Tipperary Town amid claims its still causing chronic congestion in the town.
They were installed a number of months ago and after initial teething problems, the system was tweaked to allow the traffic to move more freely again.
However Independent Clr Dennis Leahy says it hasn’t solved it
Director of Services for Roads Matt Shortt says they are surveying the new system carefully
