Tipperary County Council has been allocated additional funds today to employ more staff to intensify work on the electoral register data.
The announcement from the Minister for Housing will enable County Councils across the country to modernise the electoral registration and build on work done over the last two years.

Tipp will get two additional staff as part of the €3 million national funding boost.
Significant changes to the electoral registration included rolling voter registration and facilitate online applications.
