70 homes on the road still have lead pipes bringing in their water.

Irish Water are due to replace the lead later this year.

Tipperary County Council will then be carrying out overdue roadworks on the footpaths and the street surface early in 2018.

Director of Services Marcus O'Connor says there is a significant amount of work to be done in the area.
