Manager of the deli and bakery at Mulrooney's Gala in Roscrea, Gwen Culbert, was named as the top deli manager in Ireland at the National Grocery Management Awards.
Organised by trade magazine Shelflife, Mulrooney's Gala was also named as a finalist in the Best Team Performance category.

Gary Desmond, CEO of Gala, said Mulrooney's Gala on the Dublin Road in Roscrea has been one of their top performing stores for many years.
He said Sean and Shane Mulrooney's commitment to excellence within convenience retailing is second to none.
