Tipp sports clubs get go ahead for improvements

Nenagh AFC applied sought permission last April to construct a new artificial grass playing pitch at their grounds.

Tipperary County Council sought further information from the soccer club in early July for the development on Bulfin Road.

The local authority has now granted permission for the pitch along with flood lighting and protective netting.

Meanwhile Roscrea Hurling club has been given the green light for a new all-weather training pitch.

The club has also been given permission for floodlighting at the development at Loughpark.
