Tipp schools success at BT Young Scientist competition

A Tipperary student is set to travel to the US to work with Analog Devices following his win at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition.

Richard Tynan won three awards at the event for his project, “Advanced modelling and infilling algorithms for 3D printing”…

The student from the Cistercian College in Roscrea took first place in the Senior Individual Technology Section, he also won the Analog Devices Technology Award and won a third award for the quality of his display.

A team from the Presentation Secondary School in Thurles was highly commended for their project on the influence of music in the milking parlour.

Richard Tynan says he is thrilled with his success.
