MSD Ballydine been shortlisted for the prestigious Irish Laboratory Awards which take place in Dublin this evening.
The Kilsheelan based laboratory has been nominated for the Innovation of the Year category for its Universal HPLC Swab Cleaning Method.

They will be competing with five other Irish laboratories for the coveted title.
MED employ around 450 people at their Ballydine plant between Kilsheelan and Carrick on Suir.
A major expansion of the Ballydine facility has led to another 300 or so jobs during the construction phase.
