Tipp motorcyclists urged to slow down

Speed and alcohol are a factor in most fatal crashes involving motorbikes. 

Research from the Road Safety Authority found that 6% of all fatal motorcycle collisions were in Tipperary from 2008 to 2012.

While most of the advertising campaigns around road safety focus on drivers of cars, this report shows the actions of the motorcyclist were at fault in the majority of fatal accidents.
