Tipp IFA chair not standing for presidency

Nominations for the position closed at 5.30 last evening – however the name of North Tipp IFA chairman Tim Cullinane is not among those contesting to post.

Elections for the presidency and other board positions will be held in April after a turbulent few months for the IFA.

Tim Cullinane says while he did get strong support from IFA members in Tipperary he felt the time wasn't right for him to contest the leadership of the organisation.
