Tipperary householders can get rid of any hazardous waste for free next weekend.
Tipperary County Council and the Southern Region Waste Management Office are to open a bring centre for the collection of hazardous domestic waste in Roscrea next Saturday, January 23rd.

Items like acid batteries, cooking and engine oil, oil filters, paint, old medicines and aerosols can all be disposed of for free..
The centre will be open at the Roscrea Civic Amenity site next Saturday from 8.30 to 3.30.
