Tipp Gardaí warn of impersonating scam

Gardaí have issued a warning about the scam artist after he targeted a number of homes in the Tipperary Town, Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir areas during the Christmas period.

The suspect is described as being around 40-years-old, 5'10″ in height, of strong build and has black hair.

Sergeant Tom O'Dwyer is Crimer Prevention Officer for Tipperary and says the fraudster was very convincing. 

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact their local Garda station.
