As hundreds of children across the county prepare for a night of trick-or-treating, the emergency services are preparing for the busiest night of the year.
Those planning bonfires are being urged not to light them close to residential areas, to ensure they have adult supervision and that children stay well back from the flames.
Garda Niamh Dooley of Cahir Garda Station says it's vital that children are supervised at all times tonight.
Meanwhile Halloween night is apparently the most popular night of the year for break-ins.
Figures from Churchill Home Insurance show there were more theft claims for the 31st of October last year than any other day.
The company says people should make sure they lock their doors, activate any alarms, and strategically light their homes to make it look like they're in.
