Environmental Health Officers issued the notice on The Palm Tree Restaurant on Friar Street in Thurles on the 28th of May- however it was lifted the following day.
The same day a separate Closure Order was issued on Cloughjordan House forcing it to cease using its private water supply for the food business- No other part of the premises was affected by the notice.

That order remains in place.
Overall 15 enforcement orders were issued by the HSE in May on food premises nationwide- 10 of them were Closure Orders, 4 Enforcement Orders and 1 Prohibition Order.
