With 38 unfinished estates North Tipperary has among the highest number in the country according to figures from the Ministers department.  The figure for South Tipp stands at 28.

Ten million Euro was allocated in Budget 2014 in a bid to finish housing developments across the country which have not been completed.

North Tipp local representative Seamie Morris says there's a great need to resolve the issue of unfinished estates which in turn could provide much needed public housing.
