Tipp ant-theft pilot project goes nationwide

Theft Stop – which was successfully piloted in the Premier last year- is being rolled out nationwide and aims to reduce the theft of farm machinery by deterring criminals from taking and selling it on.

Under the scheme, farmers are able to mark their equipment with a clearly visible unique ID which is linked to a national database which can also be viewed by would be buyers.
