Motorists and residents can expect some disruption when resurfacing work on the N24 through Tipperary town gets underway in the coming months.
Funding has been allocated for the stretch of road beginning at the Dunnes Stores roundabout, and finishing out the other side of the town on the Cashel Road.
Currently Irish Water is working in the town following which resurfacing will get underway.
While there will be some delays going through the town until works are completed local Councillor Denis Leahy says the end product will be worth it.
