Tipp town festival off for 2019

The annual Tipp Town festival won’t be going ahead this year.

The decision was made due to fundraising problems by the committee, who opted to delay the festival until next summer.

This means the national milk churn racing championships also won’t take place, however, the long running Pride of Tipperary competition will go ahead as planned.

The festival’s Chairperson Stuart Agor says it’s become more difficult to run the festival each year…
