Tipp students urged to tackle gum litter

Students across Tipperary are being encouraged to do their part to tackle the problem of chewing gum litter.

The 2017 Gum Litter Taskforce’s education campaign has been launched at Colaiste Dun Iascaigh in Cahir in a bid to continue the success of recent years.

The GLT includes representatives of the chewing gum industry, the Department of the Environment, local authority representatives and civic society.

TippFM’s Pat Murphy has been speaking to the Chairman of the Gum Litter Taskforce Paul Kelly about how important it is to get younger people involved in the campaign:
