Tipp patients among worst affected in hospital overcrowding today

Over 50 patients are waiting for a bed today in hospitals serving the Tipperary region.

University Hospital Limerick has 27 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards. While there are 26 people waiting at South Tipp General in Clonmel.

Waterford University Hospital has 27 people in need of a bed and along with University Hospital Limerick are the most overcrowded.

In all the INMO are reporting that there are 331 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.
