Tipp motorists advised to leave plenty time for Bank Holiday journeys

Tipperary motorists are being advised to leave plenty of time for their journeys this Bank Holiday weekend and to ensure they take breaks if they start to feel tired.

Four people have been killed on the roads of Tipperary this year while over 60 lives have been lost nationally.

Many of the people you encounter on the roads this weekend are likely to be tourists be it from at home or abroad.

Inspector Eddie Golden of Cahir Garda Station says not only is patience a virtue – it could also be a lifesaver.
