A voluntary housing agency is hoping to build a number of dwellings in Clonmel.
The Cluid Housing Association has lodged a planning application for a development on the Glenconnor Road in the town with Tipperary County Council.
The plans are for the construction of 8 single storey two bedroom houses and 1 three bedroom house.
A decision is due from the council by May 17th.
