A Tipperary woman has picked up a cheque for 500 thousand euro after winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize on Tuesday.

The lady who has worked in the same factory for 26 years has described the win as life changing as it will now allow her to buy her first home.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Mathew Keane, Main St, Roscrea.

Accompanied to the National Lottery by her son, the lady plans to enjoy the win with a weekend away with her partner for Easter
