The Tipperary Carer of the Year will be honoured at a special event this evening.
Rosanne Fitzgerald from Kilcash has been looking after her partner Bruno for the last number of years after he was diagnosed with throat cancer.
She also looks after their 11 year old twins and works part time.
Roseanne will go on to represent Tipperary in the national finals which will be held later this month in Dublin.
Also for the first time this year there is a special young Tipperary Carer of the Year award.
Jack Cooney from Derrygrath near Clonmel is the inaugural winner of this award which will be presented at the Minella Hotel in tonight.
