An award winning Tipperary author has joined University of Limerick.
Donal Ryan – who wrote the Irish Book of the Decade, ‘The Spinning Heart’ – has been appointed as a Lecturer in Creative Writing at U.L.
The Nenagh native joins a programme led by acclaimed novelist and Chair of Creative Writing, Joseph O’Connor,
However University of Limerick is a familiar setting for Donal as it’s his alma mater.
