Independent Deputy Michael Lowry has confirmed that Thurles based firm Garuda Ltd. trading as Streamline Enterprises is trading successfully.
This is after the company's move to terminate the appointment of auditor's , BBT, chartered accountants , to audit the firm's accounts.
The decision to have the accounts independently audited was done to reduce costs in lione with a slow down in capital investment in refrigeration.
He added that there is no company in Ireland that isn't reducing it's cost base.
Garuda Ltd. was established by Michael Lowry a year after he was first elected a Fine Gael T.D in 1987.
