Thurles councillor advocates new rules for repossessions

In the first six months of this year, 45 repossession orders were granted in Tipperary, while there has been over 400 applications for repossessions so far this year in the county. 

It's claimed that the people before the courts who can't pay their mortgage are the victims of a banking industry which has been permitted to run out of control.
