Gardai in County Tipperary are continuing to question three men in connection with dissident republican activity.
The men, who are all in their 30s, were arrested during a sting operation on the N24 at Knockagh near Cahir last evening.
Officers from the Special Detective Unit backed up by local Gardai seized a number of explosive devices and two cars as part of their investigation shortly after 8pm.
Two of the men are being held at Cahir Garda Station while the other is being held in Clonmel.
