A number of ferry crossings have been cancelled – while Gardaí are advising road users to be vigilant.

The ESB says 10,000 of those without power are in Donegal alone, which has seen the worst of the weather.

In Tipperary over 130 households in the Deerpark area of Carrick on Suir have been without electricity since around 8 o’clock last evening. ESB Networks say power is not likely to be restored there until after 2 o’clock this afternoon.
