The final of the event organised by the Tipperary Peace Convention was held at the Aherlow House Hotel last evening.
Kenny Grant – a native of Glasgow who now lives in Dublin – emerged as the winner with a song called “A Child in a War”.

He wins a €1,500 cash prize along with a crystal vase and memorial trophy.
