Following the amalgamation of North and South, Tipperary County Council is divided into 5 areas all of which are set to hold their first meetings this week.
The Carrick on Suir area will hold its inaugural meeting with the newly elected representatives this morning at 10am in the District offices in the town.
Tomorrow will see Clonmel hold its first meeting while on Thursday, it's the turn of both Nenagh and Templemore.
Then on Friday, representatives from the Cashel-Tipperary area will meet for their annual meeting.
The first meeting in each area is likely to be more formality with positions to be filled on various boards and setting the timetable for upcoming meetings.
The newly elected 40 members of Tipperary County Council held their first meeting last Friday at which the Cathaoirleach and Leas-Cathaoirleach were elected.
