Approval has been given for a new wheelchair accessible footbridge over the Terryglass River.
The steel structure will allow those using the trail to cross the river without having to leave the footpath and use the existing road bridge on the R493.

According to the planning application lodged by the Terryglass Improvements Association the works will be carried out with the assistance of those on the local FAS scheme.
