If you’re looking for something to work up an appetite on Christmas Day then a trip to Templemore by be the answer.

The annual Christmas Day swim will take place in the Town Park Lake on the 25th.

The brave volunteers will take to the waters shortly after midday.

The event has proven extremely popular over the years with both spectators and swimmers alike.

Organiser Dorothy Bradish says it’s a great occasion for a very worthy cause.
