Survey shows 50% of burglaries occur though a window

A new survey has found 35 per cent of people were at home when they were burgled. 

Insurance company AIG says half of burglars enter through a down stairs window while almost 60% of homeowners have cash or jewellery taken. 

The study of 500 people in Ireland was carried out by Global Web Index on behalf of AIG.
