Around 130 staff at the pharmaceutical plant are facing redundancy with the appointment of a provisional liquidator by the High Court.
Parent company Saneca cited losses of almost €5 million in the 15 months to March of last year as one of the reasons they went to the court.

This worker says staff had been asked on a number of occasions to make concessions which they were told would secure their jobs but they hadn't seen yesterday's meeting coming.
