The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality expects to receive a broad range of submissions – both in favour and against.
The Committee conducted pre-legislative scrutiny on the issue of insolvency and produced a report containing 16 recommendations, one of which was that families should be facilitated as far as possible to remain in the family home.
