Sturgeon to seek second independence referendum

Nicola Sturgeon needs the support of the majority of the Scottish parliament and the agreement of the British government.

Downing street has responded saying another vote would be divisive and cause huge economic uncertainty at the worst possible time. 

Ms Sturgeon says it'll be held between autumn next year and spring 2019 when the terms of Brexit are known.
