Carrick on Suir born Mike Lynch is 13th – he is reportedly worth €578 million thanks to the sale of his software company to Hewlett Packard.

For the fourth year in a row, the owner of Brown Thomas Department Store, Hilary Weston, has been named Ireland's wealthiest person – she is worth €7 billion.
