A greyhound worth over a million euro has been found safe and well after being stolen from kennels in Tipperary.
Gardaí have arrested four men in connection with the theft of Clares Rocket.
Clares Rocket was stolen sometime between 6 o'clock on Sunday evening and 10 o'clock Monday morning from the yard of Irish Derby winning trainer Graham Holland at Athassel Abbey near Golden.
The greyhound, who has a stud value of over a million euro, is owned by the Limerick based Full House syndicate and was ranked as second favourite for the English Derby.
Following a Garda operation, four men were arrested in relation to the theft…
Two of the men are being held at Tipperary Town garda station, while the other two are being questioned at Clonmel under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí say that the 2 and a half year old greyhound was also found….'safe and well'
