North Tipperary T.D Michael Lowry is near the bottom of the table when it comes to attending Dail sittings.
Details of TD's roll-call in the Dáil have been revealed today which show that the Independent Deputy failed to attend 17 of the 68 times the Dail sat during the first six months of the year.
Michael Lowry says constituency commitments were the reason for his 75% attendance rate.
According to records for the first half of the year, published in the Irish Independent, attendance rates range from 69 per cent up to 100 per cent.
Three deputies haven't missed a single day of proceedings – Clare Daly of the Socialist Party, and two deputies from Fine Gael, Peter Mathews and Derek Keating.
Sinn Féin leader and Louth TD Gerry Adams also had a 75 per cent attendance record.
