A Tipperary Labour Senator believes the Communications Minister won't be in cabinet after the reshuffle.
There's widespread speculation Pat Rabbitte will be going the way of his party colleague Rurai Quinn as part of a clearout of the old guard at the top.

However Minister Rabbitte has indicated he won't be stepping down from his portfolio with reports today that he may be sacked if Joan Burton is elected as leader.
