Despite a reduction from 30 yesterday to 18 today South Tipp General is still one of the busiest in the country.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, the University Hospitals in both Limerick & Waterford and the Mater in Dublin also have 18 patients waiting for a bed.

In all there are 170 people being cared for on trolleys or chairs at hospitals across the country – down from 232 on Thursday.
