The money, from Failte Ireland, is part of over half a million euro for regional festivals and events that are set to take place across the country this year.
In total, 13,500 euro has been allocated to Tipperary festivals including the Clonmel Junction Festival, Brian Boru, the Rock of Cashel, Spleodar, the Terryglass Arts festival and the Glen of Aherlow.

Over 2.3 million euro has already been granted for 27 large national events throughout the country.
